Cherry varieties

  • Pacific Red is a modern large-fruited red sweet cherry with a firm flesh.
  • Soft, excellent flavour.
  • Roundish heart-shaped. Very soft, juicy, fair to good quality. Stone medium.
  • Penny Cherry
    An increasingly important late-season commercial sweet cherry in the UK.
  • Roundish-oval. Very soft, little fibrous, juicy, fair to good quality. Stone small.
  • Long heart-shaped. Fairly soft and fibrous, juicy, fair to good quality.
  • Heart-shaped. Firm, a little fibrous, not very juicy, good quality.
  • Roundish-oval. Soft, fibrous, moderately juicy, good quality. Stone large.
