Silken apple

Medium size. Cream colored translucent. No blush or stripe pattern. Very clear, no visible lenticels. Crisp, juicy, excellent flavor. Short season, not a keeper.

      I bought some at a Farmers' Market in Brookline in mid-September. Crisp with outstanding flavor. A hint of honey, nice texture. An excellent yellow apple.
