Erwin Bauer apple

Eating apple. Medium size fruit, deep yellow skin with stripes. Flesh especially hard and crisp with sweet aromatic flavor.

Rather disappointing - bought at the UBC Apple Festival Oct 18, 2014. Tough skin, not particularly crisp, and somewhat flavourless. Some say this is best to keep for a couple of months to develop flavour. I will try this and report back!
