- 28 Oct 2011 David M. TaylorWI, United StatesThis wonderful little red apple has a very strong flavor of star anise or licorice, like none I've ever tasted before. Simply wonderful. Like its Jonamac parent, it goes soft quickly and probably won't keep much past October or November.
