Directeur Lesage apple

Directeur Lesage is sweet/sharp flavored early-season eating apple variety originating from Belgium and northern France.

This variety is also known as Precoce de Wirwignes - "precoce" meaning early-season.

The apples have a distinctive ribbed green / yellow appearance., with red / orange flecks, and are normally picked in mid-August.
