Large fruit is pale yellow to green overlaid with red. Firm, juicy white flesh is coarse and crisp with subacid flavor.

    Its acid level is perfect for apple pie, it cooks down, no chunks when fully cooked. Capable of excellent pies. Skin is not tough so no need to peel.
