Cedar-apple rust: Mild attack Moved to final location in orchard. Pruned to 4 foot.
Initially treated cedar apple rust with captan which burned all foliage, then switched to copper oleate (1 ppt Cu at final concentration) and tree recovered.
New growth continued even after the first mild frosts in late October.
Received as fresh benchgraft from Greenmantle Nursery; planted in vegetable garden while orchard space is cleared.
