Owner's comments

A very old apple tree, at least 100 years old. Dual purpose apple, holds shape well when baked in a crumble, also fluffs up nicely for sauce. Sharp with a sweet tang when eaten fresh. Sent for ID at Brogdale years ago, and although they couldn't identify it 100%, it was most likely a Blenheim Orange or related hybrid.
