Owner's comments

In search of my favourite apple I came upon Ashmead's kernel. I received some scion wood and grafted them onto a cut-back golden delicious. Two twigs are growing in a V-shape. A year before this year in (2018) it gave some apples, which were quickly eaten by birds and wasps, then it went biannual, and this year (2020) it has some apple beginnings on it. Let's see how it turns out this year. I hope they taste good.
