The tree bore 5 apples in its first year. Two rotted when mature, one did not grow larger that a plum, two were successful. One was harvested too early in July and tasted bitter/sweet the other on 23rd August was deteriorating but was sweet with a dry coarse texture. BROWN ROT was a problem.
