Owner's comments

Local season does not appear to be long enough for this variety. Fruit is somewhat bitter when picked in mid to late October. Fruit does mellow somewhat after storage but still has a slightly green color just under the skin. The tree does bear vigorously and heavily for its size. The fruit is relatively unaffected by local insect pests.
