Owner's comments

This giant, hardy tree is of undocumented age, at least 150 years old. Seems to remain from old orchard that occupied this site. Was neglected for many years and started producing large yields after one heavy pruning. Apples are ready to pick from mid August to early September, which is very early for this region.
