I have 5 Honeycrisp trees , all planted in 2007. I live in a high wind area ,so i prune my trees to an open modified central leader. Honeycrisp on M-7 rootstock and thinned in June , all produced an abundant amount of apples in their 3rd yearSeason records for this tree
