Owner's comments

tree (triploid) is amazingly vigorous (and needs to be checked or it will overgrow and have weaker support branches). Apples are very sweet (low acid) and make very thick (almost paste-like) applesauce. Very heavy, and reliable, cropper. Started giving good quantities of apples at 4 year old tree. Large Apples (nice when processing since not as much work). About 1 to 2 per pound Winters here are long, have 3 to 6 feet of snow, and temperatures vary, with average of -8 to -15 degrees C., about 10 to 15 days will see -20 to -25 degrees C., and there is usually a damp northwesterly wind off the lakes.
