Owner's comments

Good resistance to pests and diseases. Very tolerant of poor soil (although not all rootstocks will tolerate poor soil!). Grows very slowly (about half that of the average apple tree, so best on a stronger rootstock to allow it to keep up with its companions - although it will continue to grow slowly after its companions have reached full size). In other words: T1 (weak) growth rate, but T2 (average) mature size after many years.
