Owner's comments

This tree developed a disease on the central leader which was pruned away winter 2010-2011. Diseased part was growing but not well. Remaining branches look good, not expecting any fruit for a few years while it recovers and regrows. not certain if fault was from mechanical damage or disease. Update: 2011 growing season this tree grew very well, no apparent harm from trimming the damaged central leader out.
