Spring blossom: 7 May May - was a very long Winter! No 'false start' to Spring unlike 2 previous years. Early May now c.20 degrees and quite a few bees (neonics just banned by EU) enjoying profusion of blossom.

Spring blossom: 19 April Weather cant make its mind up! Two very warm weeks end of March, followed by two weeks of frosts, now hail stones today (20th April) and sunshine too! Still - blossom has survived, although not seen many bees around to pollinate.

Spring blossom: 16 April
Harvest: 3rd week September 1kg / 2lbs Following super-hard winter (permafrost and minus 12 degrees for over a month), early sunshine and warmth seems to have produced a profusion of blossom in it's first season in situ since planting last year. Maybe the sulphate of potash and regular watering after planting has helped - looks very happy. Will update re: fruition.
