Owner's comments

Tree is about ten years old, fruits well for its size, but has only reached about 5ft height and spread - it seems unsuited to growing on such a poor soil (shallow, sandy, low rainfall). No significant pest or disease problems, although dense bunches of fruit need thinning to just a couple of plums, otherwise the whole bunch may get damp and rot.
