Owner's comments

This 2 year old newcomer arrived Nov 14th, 2009 and is the successor of a Winter Banana tree that grew in this garden from the around 1940's until 1967 latest. It is being shaped into a horizontal espalier. It starts growing and blossoms very late, when most other apple trees have already finished doing so.
