Love this apple. Crisp, but not as crisp as a Delicious. Definitely juicy. Made mine into applesauce. Also, sliced/froze some for apple pies and cake.

I believe the "Starkrimson" Delicious was introduced by Stark Brothers Nursery in 1893-1894. The original "Delicious"(Hawkeye)apple seedling appeared near here about 1870.
