Owner's comments

Plot 12 This tree has had a really hard time in 2012. It is blown about by the wind, has suffered bugs eating the leaves and fruit, mildew and probably poor soil quality. It's in a good spot for sun and managed to produce about ten apples but I removed them all in early August as they were being eaten by bugs. I have had to chemically treat it twice, once for mildew, once for bugs. It has lost 10% or more of it's leaves by August from the after effects of mildew but is responding well to liquid fertilizer and is now sprouting new leaves at the tips of each branch.
