Thomas Orchards has been growing fruit trees along the fertile banks of the North Fork of the John Day River, in Kimberly, Oregon, for 54 years. W.B. Thomas and his wife Emily started the Thomas Orchards in Kimberly in 1947. They purchased the Kimberly Orchards in 1967. Today Thomas Orchards and The Kimberly Fruit Company are still owned and operated by the Thomas family. Emily, sons John and Jim, and grandson Chuck, with their families, all live on the orchard grounds and take care of the daily farming operation. Daughter Alice runs a market for the fruit in Great Falls, Montana.
