Binet Rouge apple
A French (hard) cider apple variety from the Normandy region.
Binet Rouge is a well-known French cider variety, classified as a bittersweet, and often used in the manufacture of Calvados.
The same word can be seen in the English Dabinett cider variety, although it is not thought these varieties are related.
