  We’re on our 3rd or 4th year with belmac. Had 3 apples from it last year and they were as good as any apple i had. We don’t spray at all and they were virtually unblemished. I’d say its a very good eating apple but we’ve yet to explore the opportunities

  It was a good and bad year for my one Belmac. I planted it about 5 years ago here in NW Montana. We got our first blooms and apples this year. They were lovely to look at and delicious. The tree has been trouble free and the shape is very nice. It needs just a bit of thinning. Unfortunately voles figured out how to get into the tree tube that has worked well for all five years. I doubt it will survive but will replant.

  2014. First year of production. 12 apples! Beautiful medium-large apple, sweet and crisp. No scab, some water core. Ripened late September this year, but we're 2-3 weeks earlier than usual. I'm impressed with this apple. May plant another. :-)
