Owner's comments

I obtained some scion wood in 2015, I think and grafted it upon an M9. This rootstock is too slow growing for the zabergau renette, and this year (2020) I grafted it again on an M4 a quite vigorous rootstock and it has been taken. This rootstock will give a 85% tree if left unpruned. I have tasted the zabergau renette before in winter a few years back. It's sweet and subacid without a specific flavour. It is a big apple.
