Owner's comments

I bought some claygate pearmain scion wood to have a taste of this apple in the future. Grafted in 2016 on my rubinola mother tree and this year (2020) grafted two scions onto an cut-back golden delicious tree. Both have been taken and I'll just let them grow, until I have to make a choice which of the two I have to cut back. According to internet sources, this apple is just as complex as cox orange pippin' (COP).
