Owner's comments

Fruit resembles photos here in shape and colour - but it's a large apple, not small/medium as described. Also, it seems to be a very late apple - I've just picked and eaten one (8th Oct 2016) and it was crisp and juicy with a good flavour, but almost too acid and rather hard. I'd bought it because I'd been impressed by one at an Apple Day (Rosemoor, Devon) but am wondering if one or other was mis-named. Mine do not keep well - last year I picked in October to keep for Christmas, but by then the flavour had deteriorated.
