We have many different apple trees in our two main gardens, but I think only one Filippa in each. They are the largest, and most popular in the family. They tend to fall off from the beginning of August to the last apple left on the tree gives up, and we almost never pick them - there's no need. This year has medium yield - it looks big to me, but grandma tells me this is nothing compared to other years (which I apparently cannot remember). There are very few animals, diseases, marks or damages on these apples most years, and even less than usual this year.
