Owner's comments

We have many different apple trees in our two main gardens, but I think only one Filippa in each. They are the largest, and most popular in the family. They tend to fall off from the beginning of August to the last apple left on the tree gives up, and we almost never pick them - there's no need. This year has a medium yield, but there are a lot of very large fruits. There are very few animals, diseases, marks or damages on these apples most years, and even less than usual this year. At the moment, I find at least 4-10 both big and small apples on the ground every day, and they are mostly ripe (and absolutely delicious).
