Owner's comments

I am gambling that the Bramley 20's will grow here in Spain. We are about 2/3 way down the Mediterranean coast and 1.5 hours inland. I just cannot buy cooking apples so I must grow my own. They will be planted asap in large holes enriched with homemade compost and a little well-rotted horse manure, with a watering pipe inserted into the hole to aid with watering. Fingers crossed!

Season records for this tree

  • 2014

my 2 bramely 20 trees are very healthy with plenty of leaf growth. I had 4 fruits set on 1 tree and 1 fruit set on the other. I now only have 1 fruit left on the tree that had four. I am not unduly worried as this is their first year. I want them to grow strong for next year. No signs of disease. Very happy:) ! cannot change the year of planting below to March 2014.
