bought this as a maiden whip from the Womack Nursery in De Leon,TX . Because it is supposed to be a good pollinizer for the other plums in our orchard.

    Beautilful bloom season-looked like a popcorn bouquet but 3 separate freezes mixed with rain killed fruit set... :( However, the old Methley Plum tree we planted in another section of the property in 1999 set fruit (planted in a protected "bowl" in the valley)
