Owner's comments

Grafted scions of Edward VII onto MM111 and Bud9 rootstocks. Good growth; after one season in the nursery, trees have grown from 3-inch scions to 2-foot whips. Interesting that scions of this variety seem to grow two leaders, giving the tree an odd V shape (the less vigorous will be pruned).
