Owner's comments
Good cropper when not heavily pruned. Early fairly small fruit many with dark blotches. I would only us as a cooker but my wife will eat ripe examples. No good for wine or storage as shrivels and gets a waxy surface coating. Good for pulp to freeze. Have had the garden for 30 years and tree little changed in that time. House site feued from 1832 so could have been here a long time.Season records for this tree
