Owner's comments

very precocious, bore a decent crop it's second year. Heavy cropper (more apples than leaves, sometimes) but tends to go a bit biennial (light one year, absurdly heavy crop the next). Cider apple, and sweet / astringent, but we don't mind eating them either. Doesn't keep more than about 3 - 4 weeks. Needs support or will fall over from weight of apples. Winters here are long, have 3 to 6 feet of snow, and temperatures vary, with average of -8 to -15 degrees C., about 10 to 15 days will see -20 to -25 degrees C., and there is usually a damp northwesterly wind off the lakes.
