Owner's comments

Successfully grafted onto my Cortland tree in May 2011. First crop Oct. 3, 2013 when the first apple fell off the tree (and it wasn't even windy). These fall before fully ripe every year. This apple is hard and needs time to mellow, but once it does, extremely tasty! As of fall 2017, the parent Cortland tree is essentially dead after severe fireblight killed almost all the leaves. Goodbye, Fauxwhelp, we barely knew ye! Tasty apple that falls too early.
