Owner's comments

Planted in 2002 in south-facing position of a three-row mixed deciduous hedge. Got shaded out by other hedgerow shrubs/trees. Not fruiting yet. Will clear around it in winter 2010/11. Late frost may also be a problem in this low-lying drained fen peat plot.
