Owner's comments

Tree badly damaged in accident (early Feb 2010) - uprooted and trunk snapped. May not survive, but likely to be replaced with identical variety. Removed 2010. Tree died summer 2010 after its M25 rootstock became infected by canker/crown/collar rot. The original unexpected breakage of the tree may have been due to rot causing weakening just below ground level. Grafts were taken from the now-dead tree and I now have it growing on MM111 rootstock. 2011: Proving to have good resistance to scab and mildew. Not particularly prone to problems, other than very narrow branch angles which make a very upright tree.
