Owner's comments

Great tart, complex flavor that improves with storage. Ripens mid-September unlike Red Belle de Boskoop, which ripens about a month later. Productive, annual cropper. Very large apple with a tough brownish skin. Stores very well. Texture is soft. Very susceptible to coddling moths. Scab resistant.
