Owner's comments

One of my favorite winter pears. I get only a few of them, because of birds and other pest. When they are yellow and have a perfumed scent, they are ready to eat. You must pick them before they are ripe on the tree. These pears will ripen further in the fruit section of your fridge. Pick them 2-3 weeks before they are ripe on the tree. Similar taste to the Bartlett pear / Williams bon Chretien. This is a healthy tree. I would recommend buying one of these.
