Owner's comments

Before I bought my house in 2013, the yard had been completely untouched for many many years and was overgrown with trees and tall shrubs. I didn't even know I had an apple tree until I started cutting and clearing. The apple tree is taller than my two story house with very wide branches. A tall shrubby tree was growing very close to the apple tree, and its branches were taking over the apple tree, growing through and around it. I cut down the shrubby tree, but the apple tree looks like its rotted out at the crotch of its two main trunks and needs help. I plan to have an expert come look at it and give me advice on how to help it thrive again and live forever.
