Owner's comments

Plot 6 Sadly, this tree is in the front line for the prevailing wind and has very little wind protection so the bees are going to have a hard time unless I put up a temporary wind break near it. The tree is in a great spot for sunshine and I had hoped that it would do well there but in 2012 it had a mildew problem and needed to be sprayed more than once. I think the soil quality in it's plot may not be that good. Since the last week in August I have been giving the tree some fertilizer in the form of a proprietary liquid food and the tree has responded by growing new leaves on each branch within four days of the first treatment.
