Owner's comments
Good, reliable and heavy cropper - we like it both for eating and it's great for cooking (makes wonderful pies). Very pretty and large apple - entirely red (looks like it could have been painted with red lipstick, it's so deep and true). Tree is sturdy, and healthy. Apples are very prone to scab so we need to spray for this. Winters here are long, have 3 to 6 feet of snow, and temperatures vary, with average of -8 to -15 degrees C., about 10 to 15 days will see -20 to -25 degrees C., and there is usually a damp northwesterly wind off the lakes.Season records for this tree
