Owner's comments

Very heavy cropping for a small tree (60 large apples). They are the best tasting apples. I have a tall central post to support the tree and "maypole" the branches when heavy with fruit. I pick when they start to fall, and they reach their peak a few weeks later. I remove fallen leaves in winter to prevent scab. The site is windy and free draining.
