Owner's comments
Planted potted Yellow Transparent tree from a local nursery in fall 2010 (bought for $5 at their end-of-the season clearance). Bloomed heavily in spring of 2011, and set fruit very well. Thinned to one per cluster, and still got quite a few. The tree grew very well, has an upright habit, and produced a nice early season apple (that kept a lot longer than anticipated; well over two months in the fridge). Early heat wave in 2012 led to an early bloom. Hard freeze killed all flowers. Very hot and dry year, very poor growth.Season records for this tree
