Owner's comments

This tree shows signs of magnesium deficiency. Have added wood ashes as, although high in potash 3-4% also contains magnesium 1-2%. Analysis of my soil by RHS in 2000 showed enough magnesium for soft fruit but not fruit trees. Other trees seem to be unaffected except Laxton's Superb ( slight). Maybe this variety is particularly susceptible.
