I started this orchard in 2011 as a hobby that quickly got out of control. Because all of my trees are still young, I have extremely limited quantities of fruit. When my trees mature I will be opening a stand at the Troy Farmers Market. Becker farms is a family owned 340 acre working fruit and vegetable farm that sells most of our products directly to the public. Our farm market is located in the original farm house and is decorated with antiques and old farm tools left by our great grand parents. I could have more apples to sell by using extra chemicals-but is that really a good idea? We enjoy chatting with our customers, in either English or Spanish, especially on the weekends.
