Little PaxTM apple

Little Pax is a new English apple variety, discovered growing as a seedling tree on the Isle of Wight.

It is a very pretty apple, with a distinctive "pearmain" shape.  The flavour is very good, slightly aromatic, with an underlying sweetness, and balanced with good acidity.  The flesh is fairly crisp to the bite, not too dense.

The full story of the discovery of Little Pax can be found on Alison Harding's apple ID website.
