    This was the first apple tree that I planted, having purchased it from a local nursery. The tree itself was almost 6 feet in height when I bought it and it has not grown much taller, but it has definitely grown out. We had a weird summer, the tree initially bloomed in the Spring, but the half dozen blossoms fell off without producing fruit. A second bloom happened around July and six small apples formed.
