Owner's comments

This tree is one of 16 varieties planted very close together in a row by the street. Any especially good varieties in this line may be used to replace poor or mediocre varieties in the center of the yard, where the trees can grow somewhat larger. 2013: The first crop was 3 apples that were sweet and had good texture, but there was nothing distinctive about the flavor. Hopefully more flavor and character will develop over time.
