This tree, planted as a 1 m whip, like the one it replaced produced fruit in its first spring! It produced three apples, which were removed to let the tree grow. Actual height 1.8 m, spread 0.4 m, trunk diameter above the root graft 2 cm. Will need to be pruned after leaf fall to encourage lateral growth.
